About the event
Shape a beautiful, functional kitchen spatula from solid American walnut. In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn to rough out your spatula's profile on a band saw, then refine the shape and smooth every surface on a belt sander — no chisels, no carving, no prior experience needed.
Our instructor, Meredith, will walk you through each step, from your first cut to the final coat of food-safe oil. You'll leave with a rich, dark hardwood walnut spatula built to last and the skills to keep making things in wood.
