About the event
Make something beautiful and useful in a single session. In this hands-on class, you’ll design and craft your own bud vase from a piece of wood you choose yourself: rich, dark walnut; light, clean aspen; dramatic spalted hackberry with its ink-like veining; or warm, durable butcher block.
You’ll start by selecting your wood and sketching your design. Will it be tall and slender, short and round, or something entirely your own? From there, you’ll shape, refine, and finish your piece with guidance from an experienced instructor, learning along the way how work safely with the tools, and sand and finish for a smooth, polished result. No experience is needed. Beginners are welcome, and experienced makers will enjoy the creative freedom.
