You’ll build a stool — start to finish — and use it to walk you through everything you need to know to design and cut your own projects on our Maslow CNC router

Time & Location
May 06, 2026, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Buena Vista, 222 US-24, Buena Vista, CO 81211, USA
About the event
You'll learn how to sketch your idea, turn it into a digital plan, tell the machine what to do, and run the cut yourself. We'll also cover how to cut joints that actually fit together so your finished piece is solid and sturdy. By the end of class you'll have the confidence to bring your own project ideas to life in the shop.
What you’ll learn:
- 7-step workflow from raw concept to finished parts — covering concept and design, CAD drawing, CAM toolpath generation, G-code simulation, machine setup, running the cut, and final finishing.
- Joinery Techniques: mortise and tenon joints and dogbone corners
- How to dial in fit tolerances so your parts slide together on the first try — not the fifth.
