About the event
Create your own serene mountain landscape in glass while learning the fundamentals of stained glass art! In this beginner-friendly, 3.5-hour workshop, you’ll be guided step by step through the essential skills of stained glass, including glass selection, safe cutting techniques, grinding, foiling, and soldering.
Using an environmentally friendly approach, we’ll repurpose scrap glass and transform it into a beautiful small mountain scene featuring layered peaks, a glowing sun rising (or setting) behind the mountains, and a flowing river in the foreground. As you build your landscape, you’ll gain hands-on experience with essential tools and techniques while developing the confidence to continue exploring stained glass on your own.
All supplies are included, and no prior experience is required. You’ll leave with a finished mountain scene panel, new creative skills, a sense of accomplishment, and a peaceful piece of art inspired by nature. ✨
