About the event
Whether you're picking up a tool for the first time or building on what you learned in previous classes, this hands-on class takes you through a complete project, from rough lumber to a finished shelf you'll be proud to hang at home.
Working in our fully equipped shop, you'll practice using the core machines every woodworker relies on:
Jointer and planer: Flatten and square rough boards, and bring them to the right thickness
Table saw: Rip boards to width and make accurate, repeatable cuts
Chop saw: Cut pieces to length with clean, square ends
Drill press: Drill precise, straight holes for hardware and joinery
