About the event
Get hands-on with the basics of woodworking as you build and take home your very own birdhouse. In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn to safely and confidently operate core woodshop tools including the jointer, planer, table saw, chop saw, drill press, and more.
Starting with rough-cut lumber, you’ll walk step-by-step through the process of transforming raw materials into a finished piece—learning essential joinery techniques along the way. By the end of the session, you’ll not only have a beautiful birdhouse to display, but also the foundational skills to tackle your next project with confidence.
Whether you're brand new to the shop or just need a refresher, this class is the perfect way to get started.
